The answer may surprise you.

We ran side-by-side searches with Yahoo Personals and one of the largest same-sex dating services, Glimpse.com. We tried to make it as balanced as possible: same zip code, same search radius, same age range, same picture preferences, you name it. In our sample search, Yahoo Personals found 322 matches and Glimpse.com found 254 matches.

This is not to say that either service is better than the other one. In this instance, both services have more than enough members to justify at least a quick search. What comes next depends on how well each site lets you focus in on the best mutual matches, and also the unique collection of individuals who happen to be active on each site at any given point in time.
