All of our research suggests an extreme imbalance in the number of single men vs. the number of singles women in Hawaii. A test search at one of the largest e-personals sites, Yahoo Personals, only re-inforces this perception, with 1000+ twentysomething men chasing 300 twentysomething women.

While the guys do not have the benefit of a great male-to-female ratio, at least it is a chance to find hundreds of bachelorettes in the same "place" at the same time. If this is not enough, several leading online dating services have a similar number of profiles, and many of those profiles will be unique to each service.
